The job
This position is embedded within the Department of Educational Development & Research (O&O). We contribute to educational innovation and research and offer support to teachers, educational coordinators and leaders within the various bachelor’s and master’s programs of the FHML in the following four domains: Faculty Development, Instructional Design and e-Learning, Evaluation and Assessment. As an associate professor at the Department of Educational Development & Research, you will participate in research that is part of the School of Health Professions Education (SHE). SHE is one of 6 graduate schools at FHML and focuses on a range of research topics relevant to health professions education.
In this job, you take a leading role in educational innovations and research within the domain of technology-enhanced learning addressing questions such as how to embed technology in a different learning environment tailored to the needs of learners.

Fixed-term contract: 12 months with the possibility to become permanent.

This department supports the development and innovation of bachelor’s, master’s and postgraduate training programmes within the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (FHML), Maastricht University, in various domains such as instruction and e-learning, assessment, faculty development, and evaluation or quality improvement.
