Calling all PhDs!

We are searching for PhD candidates to participate in our eye-tracking research about teaching with SPSS.

During our research, we pair PhD candidates (like you!) with first-year bachelor psychology students, in a one-on-one session in the Erasmus Behavioural Lab, Burgemeester Oudlaan 50, 3062 PA Rotterdam. During this session, you will teach the bachelor student how to complete a statistical analysis in SPSS.

  • Before the session, we will brief you via email about the details of the SPSS task, and answer any questions you have to prepare for the session.
  • On the day, we will ask you to teach the task to the first-year student, while both of you wear eye-tracking glasses. After this, we’ll ask you to take a short survey.
  • The session will take no longer than 1 hour in total.

As a reward for your time, you can choose between a €10 gift voucher, or you can go in the draw to win a €100 gift voucher.

To join our research, please click here to complete the screening form.

When filling out this form you can share your availability, and which language you would prefer to teach in (English/Dutch).

You can participate anytime during April and (start of) May 2023.
