ICO warmly welcomes the conclusions of the Research Review Pedagogical and Educational Sciences 2018–2023. The review committee recognises ICO’s pivotal role in the training and development of PhD candidates in the field, highlighting its high-quality courses, valuable networking opportunities, and complementary support to local graduate schools.
The committee also praises ICO’s adaptability in response to developments such as the rise in part-time PhD trajectories and the growing importance of practice-oriented research. Furthermore, ICO’s strategic efforts to address financial challenges—by seeking broader institutional partnerships, pursuing sustainable funding, and strengthening collaboration in training—are endorsed by the review.
ICO is very pleased with these positive conclusions and takes the committee’s recommendations seriously. In the coming period, ICO will actively work on further recognising teaching contributions across universities and increasing its visibility at international conferences, thereby enhancing its academic and institutional impact.
