ICO OGSS 2025: Registration is now open

We are pleased to invite all ICO PhD members to the ICO Open Graduate Spring School 2025. The ICO OGSS is a mixture between a conference and a research retreat, and is an international educational event for PhD candidates in the domain of learning, instruction and education.

The primary aim of the ICO Spring School is to learn. You can learn from the keynote speeches, learn from the various workshops organized by experts in their field, and learn by presenting and discussing issues with regard to your own PhD-project in small groups with your peers. As a participant, you are also expected to review the presentations of your peers.

The second aim is to socialize and build your network in an international scientific community. The ICO IOGSS 2025 is a valuable event for all PhD-candidates, independent of the stage of your research project.

Attending full time ICO PhDs are expected to be present the full week, but if you are a part time PhD you can also choose to attend either the first half (part A), or the second half of the week (part B). For more information on the time schedule go to the programme.

What to expect:

• Participation in advanced workshops related to methodology and themes within the educational sciences; 
• Share your research in a paper or poster presentation or a round table discussion, and receive and provide peer feedback;
• Join the social programme, which allows you to get to know your national and international peers.

Important dates

• December 2024 until the 14th of February, 2025: Registration is open
• January 2025: More information on the workshops will be available
• 14 February 2025: Submission deadline for your abstract and paper
• 14 February 2025: Final date for the payment of the registration and accommodation fee
• 17 March until the afternoon of 21st of March 2025: ICO OGSS 2025
