Save the date: ICO ISS2020 – The international networking conference for all PhD candidates in Educational Sciences

March 16-20, 2020, Rolduc abbey, Kerkrade, the Netherlands

ICO invites all ICO PhDs to register for ICO’s international research event for PhD’s: The ICO International Spring School 2020, at the abbey of Rolduc in the south of the Netherlands.

During this week you will participate in workshops given by international researchers, and you will be able to learn from the keynote addresses of two renowned scholars in the field of educational sciences. You will also present your work to each other, after which experienced researchers and your peers will provide you with feedback. There is also an extensive social programme, which allows you to really get to know your international colleagues and build up contacts for life.

We are expecting PhD students from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and other countries. Are you going to be one of them?

ICO’s attending full time PhD members are expected to be present the full week. In case you are a part time PhD member you can also choose to be there for the first half of the week (part A), or the second half (part B). For more information on the time schedule of the week, go to the programme.

What to expect:

  • Participation in (one or) two advanced workshops related to methodology and themes within the educational sciences
  • Share your research in a paper, poster, or a round table presentation,  and receive and provide feedback
  • Join the social programme, which allows you to really get to know your international colleagues
