The rector magnificus of Erasmus University Rotterdam announces that

Dr. M. (Marieke) Meeuwisse

appointed as professor of Accessible Higher Education at Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences, will publicly accept her appointment on Friday 27 March 2026 with an inaugural lecture entitled:

The Social Architecture of Higher Education*

Full professors are invited to participate with gown in the academic procession. We kindly request you to be present from 15.30 hrs on the first floor of the Erasmus Building, near the rector’s room.

The ceremony will begin at 16.00 hrs promptly in the Aula, Erasmus building, of the university, Burgemeester Oudlaan 50, Rotterdam.

Your physical presence is appreciated.

The reception takes place in the same building afterwards. The rector magnificus invites you to attend this ceremony and reception.
