NEW vacancy: PhD to join as theme group coordinator for the ICO theme 9 “Higher Education”

The research carried out by ICO members is organised into thematic groups. These Theme groups are responsible for the organization of ICO’s thematic courses and also contribute to the ICO Open Graduate Spring Schools, occasionally to events related to the thematic group, in collaboration with the VOR. Each group is coordinated by two more experienced researchers and a PhD student: the theme group coordinators.

At the moment, ICO theme group 9 “Higher Education” is looking for a PhD to join the coordinators Yvette Baggen and Renske de Kleijn.

Your role
As a PhD coordinator, you will support the theme group coordinators with practical aspects of course preparation and act as the ‘voice’ of the PhD students; as a PhD student, you can provide them with new insights into what is relevant to you and your colleagues, and you can offer new perspectives on the needs and expectations regarding ICO education for this theme.
